9/28- A Flower in the Driveway: Beauty and Hope in the UnexpectedJoin us Sunday, September 28th, for a service of reflection and discovery.Life often unfolds in predictable patterns on paths of our own making. Yet, sometimes, in the most unexpected and ordinary places—a crack in the pavement, a pause in our busy day—something beautiful emerges. Like a single, determined flower pushing its way through a driveway, hope can bloom in the most unlikely of circumstances.
This Sunday, we will explore where to find these moments of unexpected grace in our own lives. How can we learn to notice the beauty that flourishes in hard places? And how can we cultivate the hope that allows us to grow, even when the way forward seems paved over? We invite you to a morning of thoughtful contemplation, music, and shared community as we seek the flowers in our own driveways.

9/21- Celebration of the Autumn EquinoxJoin us at Skylands Unitarian Universalist Fellowship as we gather to celebrate the Autumn Equinox. This is a time of balance, when day and night are equal, and we take a moment to honor the harvest, both of the earth and of our lives. Let's come together in community to share gratitude for the abundance that surrounds us and to welcome the change of seasons. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Let's make a splash and kick off our church year together!
Join us for one of our most beloved traditions, the Water Communion Service, on Sunday, September 14th. The idea is simple and beautiful: bring a small amount of water that represents a special part of your summer. Did you dip your toes in the ocean, travel to a new city, or just enjoy the simple joy of your garden hose? All water tells a story! During the service, we'll pour our waters together into a single bowl, blending our unique experiences into one shared story. It’s a fun, moving, and powerful way to see how our individual streams of life flow back together to create our wonderful community. We can't wait to hear your story! |
